MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Independent Medical Waste Transporter’s Association – IMWTA is to organize, educate, and encourage independent medical waste transporters in the regulated medical waste industry at a state and national level. The IMWTA supports and promotes teaming and processes that allow independent transporters to work together, share through peer directed advocacy, economic development, educational and regulated issues that impact the industry; while using this cumulative information and learning’s to participate in the public health policy design of the Regulated Medical Waste Management Acts at a state and national level.
