Technology enabled Service (TeS)

What is TeS?

Our member transporters are already an alternative to working with large multi-billion dollar corporations.  IMWTA Members offer transportation, collection, and disposal services on various waste streams, across all United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

IMWTA Member Goals:

1. To reduce your expenses

2. Enhance your overall customer service experience

3. Provide you with alternative waste management solutions

4. And, create peace of mind for you, knowing that you are working with IMWTA Member (s) who actually care about your organization

Many of our IMWTA Members have their own processing facilities, making expense reduction fairly easy.  Across the country, our Members have aligned to create a nationwide benefit of association, where optimal pricing and strategic alliances enable such consistent pricing. If an IMWTA Member does not have their own facility, they can align with one who does.  If an IMWTA Member wants their own processing facility, we have partnered with a premier equipment provider in MedClean Technologies, who provides autoclaves, shredders, and a unique container/mobile approach to our IMWTA Members.  Further, if an IMWTA Member does not have a facility, wants a facility, but cannot cost justify a purchase of MedClean Equipment, then a strategic alliance with regional transporters to form their own processing facility is already underway.

So, what is TeS?

TeS is all of the above, but to take this one step further, all members of the IMWTA now have the ability to become a distributor, agent, or referral partner of MedClean Technologies to provide equipment and a combination of technology and service around that technology.

For example: A multi-hospital system in Tennessee can have two MedClean Systems on site at their larger hospitals, while a transporter provides the collection and transport services from all of their other small and medium quantity medical waste generator locations, back to the processing facility where MedClean Technologies has systems.

The IMWTA can provide service for all size medical waste generators, technology for larger hospitals or medical waste generating facilities, or a combination of service and technology for hospitals and healthcare systems.

What is the benefit of TeS to all involved?

1 – A hospital/system has their own processing facility providing flexibility and self-sustainability

2 – TeS provides enhanced green profiles and lowered carbon footprints, as medical waste is not being transported across state lines or long distances, and trucks are not sitting idle on loading docs.  Medical waste is being treated faster and more efficiently

3 - Independent Medical Waste Transporters become a centralized source of waste management, offering collection, transport, treatment equipment, and disposal – full line of service and technology under one umbrella

4 – Significant expense reductions – on site treatment for the larger facilities, and small distance transport from smaller medical waste generating facilities enable expense reductions to reach 40-50% per year versus the larger company alternative

5 – IMWTA Members have the ability to address all waste streams including confidential document destruction with service on site at a hospital – Again, without an idle truck or large overhead.  MedClean Technologies offers the capability of steam sterilization for regulated medical waste through an autoclave, and shredding of confidential documents through a shredder. IMWTA members provide service and solutions for various different waste streams.
